As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Qualified Clinical Supervisor in the state of Florida, I have been dedicated to the field of mental health since 2020.
Psychotherapy Approach: I provide a trauma-informed and client-centered approach to psychotherapy. My practice is grounded in Motivational Interviewing (MI), supported by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), designed to empower clients. I focus on helping individuals explore their strengths, create meaningful change, and achieve healing through a process that is safe, collaborative, and authentic.
Clinical Supervision: I employ a collaborative supervision model aimed at building self-confidence and reducing imposter syndrome in interns. I am committed to continuous skill development, which allows me to effectively guide both my clients and interns toward their short- and long-term goals. I operate from the core belief that everyone deserves a safe space to share their highs and lows, and I value the mutual learning that occurs in every professional relationship.
I am a Florida Atlantic University Alumn where I graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2020. I am married with 3 cats who make my life extra interesting. I grew up in South Florida where I still reside. I grew up in a big close knit latinx family and am a first generation immigrant. I am the first person in my family to recieve a masters degree. In my free time I enjoy reading, volunteering with animals, exercising, spending time with family and friends, watching movies/TV shows (mostly comedies and thrillers) and traveling. I am also bilingual in English and Spanish.
I have extensive experience working with clients across the lifespan—from children as young as three, to teens, adults, and families. My practice has been delivered in varied environments, including schools, homes, community settings, and telehealth, as well as specialized locations like homeless shelters.
I treat diverse clinical issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, Bipolar Disorder, LGBT+ struggles, adjustment difficulties, and challenges related to abuse and homelessness. I am committed to maintaining cultural humility while supporting clients from all backgrounds and ethnicities.
